Ascot has appointed Drew Walter as executive vice president and head of Cyber & Commercial E&O. Also joining the team are Tracy O’Hara, Abigail Oliver, Greg Garijanian and Ben Mancuso.
Based in New York, Walter will build a business writing cyber alongside technology, media and miscellaneous E&O classes. The team will have a presence across the U.S. and will focus on wholesale and limited retail distribution to write admitted and non-admitted products.
Walter joins Ascot from Axis Capital, where he was head of Global Cyber & Technology underwriting delivery. Spending almost a decade with the company, he oversaw the regional underwriting on a range of cyber and E&O products throughout the U.S.
