A landscape worker was seriously injured after becoming pinned by his equipment while removing snow, Chelmsford police said.
A worker in the building called 911 after hearing a man yelling for help. Police and firefighters found the man pinned between an arm and tire of a skid-steer loader, police said. They were able to free the 30-year-old man from Lowell, who was taken by rescue crews to Lowell General Hospital. He was later flown by medical helicopter to Tufts Medical Center in Boston, police said.
The man was operating the skid-steer by himself and no other workers were at the site, police said.
