Insurance brokerage World Insurance Associates has acquired Circle Insurance Agency Inc. of Danvers, Massachusetts.
Founded in 1989 by James M. Holbrook, Circle Insurance provides personal and commercial lines as well as financial services.
Christine Frary is agency president. Mike Holbrook serves as president of Circle Business Insurance Inc.
As a result of this acquisition, World increases its presence in eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire, and Maine, according to Rich Eknoian, CEO and co-founder of WIA.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
World Insurance Associates is headquartered in Iselin, New Jersey. It is ranked #24 on the Top 100 P&C Agencies by Insurance Journal.
