Young Agency Group of Virginia Joins World Insurance

Insurance broker World Insurance Associates acquired the business of Young Insurance Agency Group, Inc. of Portsmouth, Virginia on July 1, 2023.

Young Insurance, founded in 1973, offers business, personal and life and health insurance, as well as security services.

William “Bill” Young is president of the agency.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

World Insurance Associates, headquartered in Iselin, New Jersey, has completed more than 195 acquisitions and has more than 250 offices across the country. World is ranked #24 on the Top 100 P&C Agencies by Insurance Journal, and #20 on the Top 50 Personal Lines Agencies by Insurance Journal
