Insurance brokerage Relation Insurance Services reports it has acquired the assets of York Insurance Services, Inc. in Forest Hill, Maryland.
The transaction went into effect on May 31, 2024. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
York owner Butch Tilley will continue managing the office.
Relation continues to actively seek partnerships to expand its geographic footprint. Relation is ranked by Insurance Journal within the top 25 largest agencies in the country by revenue. It has approximately 1,350 employees across more than 137 locations nationwide. Relation is a privately held corporation backed by Aquiline Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in New York and London.
