Boston police reported that a construction worker fell to his death while working on restoring Emerson College’s Cutler Majestic Theater on Friday, August 9.
Police were called to the scene on Tremont Street at 12:45 pm. Photos showed scaffolding on the north side of the building.
The man has not been identified yet.
The incident is under investigation by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), according to Boston Mayor Michelle Wu.
Wu and Emerson College President Jay Bernhardt each issued a statement of condolences and support for a full investigation.
