Insurance broker Willis has appointed Steve Blumhagen as a producer in the Upstate New York market. Based in the Buffalo office, Blumhagen will report directly to David Lofstrom, Northeast Deputy Leader – New England, and work with Vin Looney and the Upstate New York team.
Blumhagen brings to Willis more than 10 years of experience in property/casualty insurance. Most recently, he served as Practice Leader for Property and Casualty at USI, where he managed a team of producers and colleagues across the Upstate New York area. Under his leadership, the office became the largest in the region.
Earlier in his career, Blumhagen worked as a producer at Eustis Insurance Agency in Louisiana, which later became MMA following its acquisition by Marsh in 2018. In that role, he focused on transportation while also broadening his expertise to include manufacturing, construction, real estate, and nonprofit sectors.
Willis is a WTW business.
