
The MEMIC Group, headquartered in Portland, Maine, appointed Jim Keck as the regional vice president for the Eastern region, effective March 9. Keck succeeds Jeff Funk, who will be retiring after 20 years of service.
Keck will oversee MEMIC’s Eastern region, which spans from Vermont to Florida and includes Tennessee. He will be responsible for regional strategy, underwriting operations, and agency partnerships.
Keck joined MEMIC in 2016 as a senior production underwriter. In 2021, he was promoted to Territory Manager for the Northeast Region, overseeing underwriting operations across New York and New England, excluding Maine.
