British insurance group Prudential Plc announced Wednesday that Derek Higgs, chairman of M&G, the European asset management unit of Prudential, would resign his position effective in November, 2000
Higgs is also resigning from the board of Prudential, where he will be replaced by Michael McLintock, the current chief executive of M&G.
Prudential bought M&G last year. It is one of the largest mutual funds in Britain.
