The Navigators Group, Inc. announced that John “Jack” Kirby, who recently retired from Chubb & Son, Inc., as Managing Director with worldwide responsibility for ceded reinsurance, has been elected as a member of Navigators Board of Directors.
Kirby began his career with the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies in 1974, and worked in a variety of underwriting and executive assignments with Chubb. He held various senior positions at Continental Corporation from 1987 to 1995, and served as Senior Vice President and Manager – Global Marine & Aviation Practice at Willcox, Inc. from 1995 to 1998. He returned to Chubb in 1998.
