The U.K.’s Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has announced the appointment of four senior personnel as part of its drive to enhance the services provided to members and corporate customers.
Jamie Heath joins the CII as Director of Strategy and Change. Previously Vice President, Business Development and Strategy for North America at Accenture HR services, he has substantial experience of outsourcing in the HR, learning and development areas.
Mike Pulfer FCII, has been named London Market Product Manager, responsible for the introduction and development of the London Market Faculty. He has over 30 years insurance broking experience in the London, Lloyd’s and international markets.
Fiona Andrews takes up the new role of Faculty of Claims Product Manager. Previously responsible for the introduction of the CII’s new general insurance qualifications framework, her role is to implement the new Faculty of Claims (to be launched on July 1) and a new continuing professional development scheme for qualified CII members.
Martin Reid ACII, has been appointed Marketing Manager – Membership with responsibilities for the research and development of the CII’s membership proposition, membership renewal and the growth of the Institute’s membership base.
CII Director General Dr. Sandy Scott commented: “A key component of our business plan is to understand our customers better and to deliver relevant products and services to meet the needs of our members and corporate customers in line with our mission of ‘Protecting the public by guiding the profession’. I am naturally delighted that such high calibre people are joining the CII team as we move into the next phase of the CII’s development, particularly in the provision of our new suite of faculties.”
