Cross is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Keeling commented: “This role is an important development for XL’s reinsurance segment as it will be the first time there is a global focus on the Non-Life Actuarial function. Susan will also assume responsibility for Strategic Planning and oversight of the Ceded Reinsurance function for the segment. Her strong technical background, detailed knowledge of the reinsurance segment and management team will be a most valuable asset to the business.”
Cross said: “We have tremendous actuarial talent in the reinsurance segment and I look forward to working closely with my colleagues throughout the group to efficiently and effectively leverage those capabilities.”
