In a brief announcement Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services said it has reinstated its “BBB” financial strength and long-term counterparty credit ratings on Korea’s LG Insurance Co. Ltd.
S&P said it had taken the action “at the company’s request to meet the needs of policyholders and investors.”
“The outlook on the counterparty rating is stable,” S&P noted.”
It also indicated that it has reinstated the “BBB” rating on LG Insurance Co. Ltd. (U.S. branch), also with a stable outlook.
