A.M. Best Co. announced that it has withdrawn the financial strength rating of “B++” (Very Good) of Corifrance (Compagnie de Reassurance d’Ile de France).
Best said the action follows “the announcement that the company has ceased writing business and is to be sold to Riverstone (a subsidiary of Fairfax Corporation).
This rating has now been moved to NR-3 (Rating Procedure Inapplicable).”
