Zurich Financial Services Group has appointed Kristof Terryn, 39 – a Belgian citizen – as its new Chief Operating Officer, Global Corporate, effective July 1, 2007. He will be responsible for driving business performance and improving Global Corporate’s operational infrastructure and processes, reporting to Geoff Riddell, CEO Global Corporate, and will be located in Zurich.
Terryn joined Zurich in 2004 from McKinsey and is currently the Group Head of Planning and Performance Management. He holds a law degree and a degree in economics from the University of Louvain and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
