Marsh UK announced that Chris Wallace has been named as Head of its Commercial Client Practice in the UK. The practice, part of Marsh UK’s national business, provides risk and insurance services to small companies and organisations throughout the country.
Wallace joins Marsh from Royal & SunAlliance where he has held several leadership positions since 1996, including most recently Sales Manager for Affinities and Director of Small Business.
Chris Lay, Head of Mid Market and Commercial, Marsh EMEA, noted the growth opportunities in the UK small companies market and said Marsh has further plans to expand in the sector. Wallace experience in this market “makes him the natural choice to lead our expansion and we are very pleased to have attracted an executive of his calibre to spearhead our drive.”
