Marsh’s London office announced that it has acquired the assets of The Nielsen-Wurster Group’s Construction Claims & Dispute Resolution business.
“As part of the transaction, more than 30 Nielsen-Wurster professionals and staff will join Marsh, including Reza Nikain, president of the acquired firm,” said the bulletin.
The new team will serve in Marsh’s Forensic Accounting & Claims Services (FACS) Construction Consulting Practice as Marsh continues to enhance its construction dispute and advisory capabilities.
Marsh noted that Nielsen-Wurster “has provided management consulting, risk management and dispute resolution services globally to the construction, legal, regulatory, engineering, industrial and commercial sectors” for over 30 years.
Upon moving to Marsh, “Nikain will be responsible for leading the growth of the firm’s construction claims and dispute resolution services,” the announcement continued. John Merkovsky, Global Leader of Marsh’s Risk Consulting Practice, stressed that the combination would greatly strengthen Marsh’s expertise in the field.
