ACE European Group has announced the appointment of Shaun Edwards as a Client Relationship Manager for its Major Risks business, in a move, which, ACE said, “further enhances ACE’s profile and broker relationships within this area.”
He will work closely with ACE’s brokers and will be responsible for the retention of existing clients as well as the development of new client relationships. Edwards joins Jeff Carr, who was appointed Client Relationship Manager earlier this year.
Prior to joining ACE, Edwards was Head of Client Management at Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty and Client Executive Director at Willis Group Holdings. He will be based in ACE’s Leadenhall Street Head Office and will report to Phil Sharpe, Director of Casualty and Major Risks, UK & Ireland.
Sharpe noted that “over the next few years our Major Risks service offering will form a key segment for ACE European Group.” He added that Edwards “experience and knowledge will play a key role in helping us to achieve our growth targets in this area and we are delighted to have him in the team going forward.”
