Marsh announced two new appointments in its Market Relationship Management team (MRM), who will be based in London, and will focus on managing Marsh’s market relationships in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Marsh’s MRM team has overall responsibility for managing the relationships with its markets, ensuring that they are aligned to the firm’s global client strategy and deliver the best solutions and services that meet clients’ needs.
Marsh identified its two new managers as Tracy Harrington, who has worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years and joins Marsh from QBE, and Sarah Powell, who joins from Brit Insurance.
Harrington served as QBE’s Client Relationship Manager. She will be responsible for leading Marsh’s MRM activity in the UK, focusing on carrier strategy and planning.
Powell was Brit’s Corporate Relations Officer for five years. In her new role as UK/EMEA Senior Support, she will be responsible for supporting Marsh’s MRM activity in the UK and across the wider EMEA region.
Commenting on the new appointments, Jeremy Cooke Global MRM Leader, explained: “The Market Relationship Management team provides clear and consistent communication of our placement strategy to the markets, and maintains accurate and robust data to benchmark these markets effectively. Both Tracy and Sarah will play a key role in ensuring that Marsh delivers world class solutions and services to our clients.”
