Energi has formed a wholly owned subsidiary, Energi of Canada LTD and is entering the Canadian insurance market. Initially, Energi will offer its Energy Property Insurance Program along with Energi’s Energy Savings Warranty (ESW), Solar Installers Performance Warranty (SIPW) and Solar Manufacturing Warranty Protection. In the near future, other lines will be available such as general liability, commercial auto, and excess for certain sectors of the energy industry. All products have been designed for the energy industry.
Energi will act as a program administrator and coverage will be underwritten by A.M. Best A-rated insurance companies. Energi will be appointing a limited number of Canadian independent insurance agents and brokers to market our products.
