Marsh announced the appointment of Doug Dundas as its Global Head of Marketing and Communications. He is based in New York and will report to Peter Zaffino, President & CEO of Marsh, Inc.
Dundas joins Marsh from Doug Dundas Communications, “a boutique consultancy he launched in late 2007 specializing in the unique communications needs of financial services firms that serve institutional and high-net-worth clients.”
Before that he was managing director, head of investment marketing and communications for Citigroup’s Global Wealth Management sector, having previously served as global head of investment research and communications at The Citigroup Private Bank. He joined Citigroup from Goldman Sachs, having previously worked at McGraw-Hill, Time Inc. and ABC News.
Zaffino described Dundas as a “very well-regarded professional who will bring a strong, strategic focus to Marsh’s global marketing and communications activities.” He noted that his “extensive background in senior positions across the financial services sector” would be an “asset as we continue to develop innovative solutions that meet our clients’ rapidly evolving needs.”
