ACE Appoints Matthews as Claims Client Relationship Manager for UK & Ireland

November 17, 2015

ACE appointed Judy Matthews as claims client relationship manager for the U.K. and Ireland, as it continues to invest in its client-facing claims management team for ACE’s global accounts division.

Matthews will work closely with ACE’s business leaders and claims management teams and directly with clients and brokers to support the delivery of ACE’s multinational claims proposition, the company said in a statement. The appointment was effective at the end of October.

She has over 20 years insurance industry experience and joins from Markerstudy. Prior to that, Matthews held leadership positions in claims management roles within RSA, where she was responsible for operational performance and client relationships. In her new role, she will be based in London, reporting to Graham Lambourne, multinational claims manager for ACE in Europe.

“In today’s complex risk environment, managing claims on a global basis for large, multinational clients can be a challenge for both clients and insurers,” said Peter Murray, claims director and senior vice president, ACE European Group.

“ACE’s claims client relationship management demonstrates the clear value in bringing claims management to the forefront of our relationship with clients throughout their policy lifecycle – from the moment they consider placing their program with ACE to when they actually have a claim and beyond,” he continued.

“Judy’s extensive experience in both client-facing roles and in managing claims teams internally are a positive addition to our growing claims client relationship management team and will enable us to continue to provide the high service standards our customers expect from ACE,” Murray said.
