Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Co. (BHSI) announced it has expanded its Northern European operations, appointing Ulrich Kremer as senior vice president, Claims, Northern Europe.
Ulrich joins BHSI with nearly 16 years of experience as a lawyer and in the insurance industry. He was most recently Claims Department manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, at Chubb Insurance Co. of Europe SE. Before that, he was general counsel and manager, Product Development, and, prior to that, legal counsel and manager, Product Development, at Chubb. Earlier in his career he was an attorney at Vogel and Turner, and at the law offices of Schindler and Kremer.
He completed his legal studies at The Philipps University of Marburg, and a Masterprogram in Commercial and EU Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Ulrich is based in BHSI’s office in Dusseldorf.
