Bermuda-based White Mountains Insurance Group Ltd. announced that Reid T. Campbell will become its chief financial officer on May 17, 2017.
Campbell has served as a managing director of White Mountains Capital Inc. since January 2004 and as the president of White Mountains Advisors LLC since January 2015. He joined White Mountains in 1994 and has served in a variety of financial management positions. Prior to joining White Mountains, Campbell spent three years with KPMG LLP.
David T. Foy, White Mountains’ current chief financial officer, will remain an adviser to senior management through the end of 2017.
“It has been a great pleasure to serve White Mountains over the past 14 years, and I am pleased to have such a capable successor as Reid,” said Foy.
Manning Rountree, White Mountains’ chief executive officer, said: “We are pleased to announce Reid’s promotion to CFO. We also want to thank David for his many important contributions during his 14 years with White Mountains, including his major contribution to the success of our Symetra investment.”
