Beazley Adds Miranda to Latin American, Caribbean Team

Specialty insurer Beazley has appointed Vicente Miranda as a specialty lines underwriter responsible for developing Beazley’s specialty lines portfolio with brokers and clients in Latin America and the Caribbean.

He will be based in Beazley’s Miami office.

Miranda joins from R&G Espinosa International Adjusters where, as commercial manager, he developed a business network in London, Miami, Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to this, he worked as a financial lines underwriter at Swiss Re.

Najib Bousakr, Beazley’s international regional head for Latin America, said the insurer has ambitious plans to grow its specialty lines business in Latin America and the Caribbean.
