Insurance Broker Ed Wins License to Transact Business in Jersey

Insurance and reinsurance broker Ed has been granted a license to carry out general insurance mediation business by the Jersey Financial Services Commission.

This follows on from last year’s announcement by the broker of the expansion of its professional and executive risk offering in the Channel Islands with its successful application for a commercial insurance intermediary license granted by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.

Nick Bachmann is the divisional director of professional and executive risk at Ed and is based in Guernsey. “This license significantly strengthens our ability to expand our offering in the Channel Islands region and build upon our services to new and existing clients. Increasing our presence in offshore centres, and strengthening our abilities to service clients in these markets, is central to our growth strategy,” he said.
