Everest announced its international insurance division has launched a unified specialties business, bringing together its offerings across marine, aviation, energy & construction, cyber, and industry practices.
Paul Trueman has been appointed to lead the new unit, as head of Specialty for Everest Insurance International.
“We are strengthening our investment in the growing needs of the Specialty market, with integrated solutions and expertise to serve a broad range of complex risks,” said Jason Keen, co-head of International Insurance. “Paul’s deep market knowledge, collaborative leadership style, and keen understanding of Specialty risk position him well to lead this next phase of growth at Everest, while enhancing our position in the market.”
Trueman is a seasoned specialty insurance leader with more than 20 years of experience spanning global and regional markets. Since joining Everest in 2022 as head of Aviation, he has played a critical role in expanding the company’s presence in the market and enhancing underwriting strength across the business.
Prior to Everest, Trueman held senior positions at global insurers focused on aviation and broader specialty lines across both London and Asia-Pacific regions.
