The St. Paul Companies’ USIO Makes Appointments

Marita Zuraitis, executive vice president of Minnesota-based The St. Paul Companies’ U.S. Insurance Operations (USIO), announced several appointments within the USIO leadership team The appointments are effective immediately.

Stephen Klingel, 50, was named senior vice president of The St. Paul’s Commercial Lines Group. Klingel was president of the USIO Central Region, based in Chicago. He moves to the company’s corporate headquarters in St. Paul, Minn.

Dennis Crosby, 43, was appointed senior vice president of USIO field operations with responsibility for the Eastern U.S. Previously, Crosby was regional president of USIO’s Southeast Region with offices in Atlanta. He continues to be based in Atlanta.

Bruce Berthelsen, 51, was named senior vice president of USIO field operations with responsibility for the Western U.S. Before joining USIO, Berthelsen was president and CEO of Willis Corroon Corp. of Georgia. Berthelsen is based in Atlanta.

Lou Snage, 53, succeeds Dennis Crosby as USIO president for the Southeast Region, based in Atlanta. Snage previously was president of The St. Paul’s Center for Agency Services, also in Atlanta.

Jack Roche, 38, moves to Chicago to succeed Stephen Klingel as USIO president for the Central Region. Previously, Roche was regional vice president for the New England area.

Armando Calderon, 42, was named USIO president for the Upper Midwest Region, based in Saint Paul, Minn. He previously served as general manager-St. Paul Insurance Espana, in Madrid.
