Illinois-based Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Cornwall & Stevens Co. Inc., a property/casualty company with hub operations in Memphis, Tenn.; Atlanta, Ga.; and New York, N. Y.
Established in 1898, Cornwall & Stevens handles all lines of property/casualty insurance for a diverse clientele with a strong specialization in commercial agricultural risks and the news media. In addition to its hub offices, it also conduct business through employees located in many other Southern and Midwestern states.
The company will continue to operate in these locations under the direction of Mitchel L. Brashier, mid-Southern regional manager, and John D. Stancik, Northeastern regional manager.
