Former Neb. Lt. Gov. To Serve on Fiserv Board

Kim M. Robak, Vice President for External Affairs and Corporation Secretary at the University of Nebraska, has been named to serve on the Board of Directors of Fiserv, Inc.

Robak, 47, joined the University of Nebraska in 1999 after serving as Lieutenant Governor of Nebraska from 1993 to 1999. She also was Chief of Staff from 1992 to 1993 and Legal Counsel from 1991 to 1992 to former Nebraska Governor E. Benjamin Nelson. During her tenure in state government, she was Chair of the Governor’s Information Resources Cabinet and led the Information Technology
Commission of Nebraska.

Earlier in her professional career, Robak was a partner in the law firm of Rembolt Ludtke Parker & Berger in Lincoln, Nebraska, and a junior high school teacher in Lincoln.

Robak serves on several boards. Among corporations, she is a member of the Board of Directors of the First Ameritas Life Insurance Corporation of New York, the Advisory Board of Wells Fargo Bank of Lincoln and the Board of Directors of the Nebraska Medical Center. She also is a member of the Board of Trustees and the Executive Committee of Doane College in Crete, Nebraska.

Among nonprofit organizations, Robak is a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Lincoln and Lancaster County, Nebraska, and chaired the organization’s 2003 Campaign Committee. She also is a member of the Board of Directors of the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development and is a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Lincoln Public Schools Foundation.

Robak this year received the University of Nebraska Alumni Association Distinguished Alumni Award. She also is a recipient of the George H. Turner Award for Public Service from the Nebraska State Bar Association.
