Chicago-based insurer CNA Financial Corp. announced that Daniel S. Fortin has joined CNA insurance companies as senior vice president of the specialty lines open brokerage unit within its property/casualty operation. Fortin will oversee underwriting for public directors and officers, fidelity, errors and omissions and related lines of coverage.
Fortin has recently served as a managing director for Aon Financial Services Group. Prior to that he spent more than a decade at CNA, where most recently he was vice president of corporate governance.
