The Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana elected Lawrence D. Myers as its new president at the group’s convention in November.
As a member of the IIAI executive committee, Meyers will represent the interests of independent agents and the public they serve. IIAI members who will join President Meyers on the executive committee are:
— Immediate Past President Mark A. Bates, president/managing partner of Fleming, Bates & Barber Ins. Inc. in Crown Point
— President Elect Sherry J. Frey, director of marketing of MBAH Insurance in Lafayette
— Vice President/Treasurer Dean Mayfield, president of Mayfield Insurance Inc. in Mooresville — Vice President/Secretary Douglas Annakin, account executive-commercial with HUB International Midwest in Evansville
— State National Director J. Michael Miley, account executive with Gibson Insurance Agency Inc. in Plymouth, serving the second of a three-year term
IIAI counts 800 member agencies in the Hoosier State.
