MetLife announced that the Chubb Group of Insurance Cos. has signed a long-term lease renewal and expansion for its Regional Midwest Office at Sears Tower totaling 110,831 square feet.
The deal makes the insurance carrier the skyscraper’s ninth largest tenant and marks the third time in the last four months that Sears Tower has reached renewal agreements with one of its ten largest tenants.
Chubb, an occupant of Sears Tower since 1994, renewed a 99,081-square-foot lease for its current Sears Tower offices, while adding 11,750 square feet more space. Lease terms were not disclosed.
