ECM Insurance Services, a San Francisco-based management liability and property/casualty insurance wholesaler, announced it has opened an office in the Chicago area.
Led by Gregory L. Wideman, formerly of Shand Morahan & Co., and Rodney T. Nubin, formerly of Auto-Owners Insurance Co., the new ECM office is at 1600 Golf Road, Suite 1200, in Rolling Meadows, Ill. The office phone number is (847) 981-5191.
“We are excited about the new business opportunities in the Midwest this Eastward expansion creates for us,” ECM President Patrick Hanley said in a statement announcing the move.
“Under the leadership of Rodney Nubin and Gregory Wideman, we expect to quickly become a strong presence in the Chicago wholesale market,” he said.
ECM also has regional offices in Walnut Creek, Calif., Los Angeles and Portland, Ore. ECM specializes in directors and officers, errors and omissions, employment practices liability, property/casualty and umbrella coverages insurance.
Founded in 1997, the company currently has about 50 employees and is privately held.
