Gov. Mike Rounds has suspended two of the top officials in South Dakota’s Division of Insurance for sending out a memo last week critical of the state legal system’s handling of a case against a Sioux Falls insurance agent, according to the Argus Leader.
Division Director Gary Steuck and assistant director for regulation Randy Moses are being suspended for 10 working days without pay for sending the memo to members of the division’s two advisory councils, Rounds’ spokesman said last week.
