Monoline workers’ compensation insurer FirstComp was recognized by the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce as one of the recipients of the Omaha 25 Excellence in Business Awards for 2005.
Omaha companies in four size categories were honored at the chamber’s annual awards luncheon for positive revenue and payroll growth over the last three years. According to the chamber’s criteria, the privately held companies, which have been in operation at least five years, demonstrate excellence in business practices, financial growth and success.
FirstComp, founded in 1997 and headquartered in Omaha, has an average annual sales growth of 81.4 percent over the past four years, and was one of five local companies to receive the award in the largest size category of 100-plus employees.
