Crockett will be honored at the SHRP Annual Dinner to be held on September 21, 2005 at the Chicago Hilton and Towers.
Crockett was recognized for her distinguished lifetime achievement of contributions to the HR profession, in particular her work at Allstate where she has been instrumental in the insurance provider’s 10-year transformation from a subsidiary of Sears to an independent Fortune 100 company with a high-performance culture.
Insurance consulting firm Polestar Performance Programs Inc. announced the appointment of Helen K. Kasper to the post of president. Prior to joining Polestar, Kasper served as vice president of regional distribution for Citizens Insurance.
Prior to joining Chicago-based Polestar, Kasper also served as marketing director of Kemper Insurance Chicago. At Kemper she oversaw agency-wide new business, marketing and client-service initiatives.
Kasper is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Sales & Marketing Executives International, the CPCU Society, and the Empowering Women Network (EWN). She serves on the advisory board for The Urban Insurance Partners Institute (UIPI), Polestar Performance Programs Inc., EWN, and J. Krug & Associates.
