The Ohio Department of Insurance has announced that the 2007 Insurance Fraud Seminar will be conducted Thursday, March 15 at Quest Conference Centers, 8405 Pulsar Place, Columbus, Ohio.
Co-hosts are the Ohio Chapter of the National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators (NSPII), the Ohio Chapter of the Insurance Association of Special Investigation Units (IASIU), and the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB).
The day-long event will begin at 7:45 a.m. with remarks by Peg Ising, deputy director of Regulatory Compliance and Consumer Protection for the Ohio Department of Insurance. The seminar will focus on presentations and discussions about chiropractic fraud, fraudulent receipts and documents, interviewing techniques, the role of insurance company insurance fraud investigators, an update on key Ohio legal issues, healthcare fraud, and preparing fraud cases.
