USG Insurance Services, Inc, a national wholesale broker of commercial insurance headquartered in Tampa, Fla., recently announced the promotion of Lucas Bacon to brokerage manager of the company’s Michigan branch.
In his current position, Bacon will be responsible for overseeing the brokerage business in Michigan and in contingent states.
Bacon’s was promoted to senior underwriter in 2006 after three and a half years in the position of underwriter/broker for USG. Prior to his career at USG, Bacon worked for Burns & Wilcox as an underwriter/broker. He is a graduate of Western Michigan University.
The Michigan branch is one of 11 USG offices nationwide.
