Wausau Signature Agency (WSA) recently announced it has entered into an alliance with the National Equipment Register (NER) to help WSA clients combat the growing problem of construction equipment theft by registering their equipment on NER’s HELPtech database.
Through the alliance, WSA clients will receive a 20 percent discount on NER’s HELPtech service and WSA staff will have an opportunity to advise clients about equipment theft risks and solutions through access to NER’s expertise and industry contacts.
NER’s secure and confidential online registration of contractors’ equipment, including descriptions of construction equipment and serial numbers, is stored in a national database to support police seeking to identify the true owner of a machine. In addition, registrants are given a warning decal to display on each piece of equipment to deter thieves.
Wausau Signature Agency (WSA) is a national agency that offers access to group, property and casualty products from a variety of carriers. WSA is also the largest distributor of Wausau Insurance property and casualty products, coverages and services.
