Rolling Meadows, Ill.-based Associated Agencies Inc., has hired Helene R. Berns as an account executive.
Berns is licensed in all areas of insurance, offering service to those needing auto, home, commercial and other insurance.
Prior to joining the Associated team, Berns owned the Chicago clothing company Little Black Dress. Her clothing line was carried in high-end women’s boutiques and such department stores as Bloomingdales. Before launching Little Black Dress, she owned a successful party consulting business, Soup to Nuts.
Berns currently serves on the ladies board of the Illinois Holocaust Museum.
Associated Agencies Inc., a full-service insurance brokerage firm, has been in business for almost 120 years and currently serves nearly 15,000 clients nationwide.
