Jamie Durocher has been promoted to director of business development for Eau Claire, Wis.-based wholesale insurance firm, Scobie Group.
Durocher has held the position of marketing representative with Scobie Group since February 2011. In his new role, Durocher will be responsible for the overall planning, organizing and execution of all marketing functions for the company. This includes managing and directing the marketing plan and marketing personnel, product development and agent relationship development.
Scobie Group is a family owned company founded by Robert W. Scobie in 1932. Headquartered in Eau Claire, Wis., Scobie Group has branch offices in Minneapolis, Minn.; West Des Moines, Iowa; Omaha, Neb.; Waukesha, Wis.; New Albany, Ind.; and Arizona, and has approximately 110 employees.
