Heffernan Insurance Brokers promoted Brian Billhartz to senior vice president and branch manager in its St. Louis, Mo., office.
Billhartz has over 22 years of experience in property and casualty underwriting, production and account management. Billhartz’ duties have included feasibility, sales, consulting, marketing, contract negotiations and implementation of wrap up programs for construction projects totaling over $15 billion dollars.
Billhartz worked in the St. Louis insurance community for over 20 years in the wrap up and brokerage services area. Previous to that he was senior underwriter for one of the largest national property and casualty carriers located in Chicago, working closely with insurance agents and brokers to underwrite property for general liability, umbrella, auto and work comp coverages.
Billhartz holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation; an Associate of Risk Management (ARM) degree; and a Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation.
The St. Louis branch of Heffernan Insurance Brokers currently has 23 employees and expects to have $5 million in revenues in the next year.
