Cameron, Mo.-based Cameron Mutual Insurance Co. has appointed Peter A. Lindquist as chief financial officer/treasurer.
Lindquist, a CPA who holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, comes to Cameron Mutual from Monitor Liability Managers LLC, in Rolling Meadows, Ill., where he served as vice president and chief financial officer for the past 14 years.
His prior work experience includes four years as vice-president and chief financial officer for Dental Network of America in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., and 13 years as chief administrative officer and treasurer for American Mutual Reinsurance Co. in Chicago. Earlier in his career, he also worked as a senior auditor with the firm now known as Deloitte & Touche in Chicago.
Lindquist also holds the AIAF designation.
Cameron Insurance Co. is a multi-line property casualty insurance group operating in Arkansas, Iowa, and Missouri through over 320 independent, professional agencies.
