The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering rewards up to $10,000 for information leading to arrests in the intentional fires set after the grand jury announcement in the Ferguson, Mo., police shooting.
The ATF announced the rewards on Dec. 5. The agency singled out the arson at Flood Christian Church in nearby Country Club Hills. The father of police shooting victim Michael Brown Jr. was baptized at the church one day before the November 24 grand jury announcement.
Bomb and arson units from St. Louis County and the city of St. Louis, as well as investigators from the Missouri Highway Patrol, are assisting the investigation.
Federal investigators ask members of the public with video or photographic evidence or other information to email them to Fergusonfires(at)ATF.gov.
