Ironshore Inc. has added David Harrell in its Specialty Casualty unit as vice president, casualty manager in the Chicago office.
He will be responsible for building upon Ironshore’s retail distribution platform of Specialty Casualty product lines throughout the Midwest region, reporting to Tracey Sharis, senior vice president, Specialty Casualty.
Harrell joins Ironshore from Chubb/ACE USA where he served as regional vice president for the Midwest area. Previously, he was an underwriting specialist with American International Group. Harrell’s professional career began in 1993 for Chubb & Son, where he served as excess casualty manager for the company’s Midwest region.
Ironshore Specialty Casualty underwrites a range of business lines for complex, diverse industry classes, including Manufacturing, Energy, Transportation, Agriculture and Commercial Construction, among others. Coverage is available on an occurrence, claims-made, retained amount and integrated occurrence basis.
