Lisa Corless has been promoted to president and CEO of AF Group, a subsidiary of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
Corless assumes CEO duties from Elizabeth Haar, who is now BCBSM executive vice president and president of emerging markets. Corless has been president of AF Group since 2016. The promotion is an expansion of duties for Corless, who will maintain responsibility for the day-to-day operations of AF Group.
Corless joined AF Group in 2013 as a member of the executive team, serving as senior vice president, chief administration officer and chief of staff. She was previously the chief operating officer at Texas Mutual Insurance Co.
AF Group is a Lancing, Mich.-based workers’ compensation provider.
