The international specialist insurer, Hiscox, has appointed Andrew Wood as Midwest regional executive for the U.S., based in Chicago.
With nearly 25 years of industry experience, Wood will be responsible for leading the growth and performance of the Midwest underwriting team.
Before joining Hiscox, Wood served as chief administrative officer and executive vice president of Retail Operations at Insureon, where he led the management of retail sales operations. He was responsible for driving placement of new small commercial business insurance policies while also managing the ongoing insurance needs of over 80,000 clients across multiple distinct distribution channels.
Prior to Insureon, Wood was the chief operating officer at InsuranceNoodle, an insurance brokerage dedicated to the distribution of small commercial property/casualty insurance coverage.
