Portage, Michigan-based managing general agency and surplus lines broker, J.M. Wilson, has added Jim Walsh as a marine underwriter.
He will be responsible for working with marine carriers and agents for both commercial and personal ocean marine and wet inland marine business in all states where J.M. Wilson is licensed.
Walsh has over 18 years of experience in marine hull and liability brokerage, as well as marine underwriting. He is a graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering.
