Coalition announced it has acquired Wirespeed, a cybersecurity platform built to triage threat detections in milliseconds. The acquisition will combine Wirespeed’s managed detection and response (MDR) with Coalition’s suite of cyber risk management tools and coverage to provide protection against fast-moving cyber threats.
At launch, Wirespeed MDR will integrate data from Coalition’s Active Data Graph, including external attack surface monitoring, cyber claims data, and more, into its Automated MDR to give more businesses access to 24/7 protection. Wirespeed CEO and co-founder Tim MalcomVetter will join Coalition as General Manager, Security, and CTO and co-founder Jake Reynolds will become Head of Engineering, Coalition Security.
Wirespeed is based in St. Louis, Missouri.
